The Parking Dynamics PD1 universal no drill, no holes Electromagnetic Parking Sensor uses a dynamic no holes invisible when fitted exclusive design, that is accurate, responsive and 100% reliable in all parking conditions. This tested electromagnetic parking sensor technology makes parking your car so much easier & will help prevent those car park bumps, scrapes and accidents.
The PD1 is a universal no drill parking sensor that fits all cars, vehicles, vans, 4x4, MPVs & motor homes that have plastic bumpers & gives you a totally invisible parking sensor so only YOU will know that its fitted. The PD1 no drill parking sensor detects all objects including adults & children, all vehicles, low & high kerbs, posts, pillars, brick walls, fences, barriers, garage doors, skips, trees, hedges etc.
The discreet no drill parking sensors adhesive metal EPS antenna mounts uniquely on the inside of your plastic bumper maintaining the sleek aesthetic look of your car. The PD1 no holes parking sensor is a superior alternative in design and performance to the ultrasonic type parking sensor if you do not want any holes drilled in your car, van etc..
The PD1 electromagnetic parking sensor is available as a front no drill, no holes parking sensor, a rear no drill no holes parking sensor or you can have front & rear no drill no holes parking sensor. How the electromagnetic parking sensor works.
When reverse gear is engaged the electromagnetic parking sensor system provides an instant, automatic, self-diagnostic function that maps out the surrounding area of your bumper and gives an audible tone to confirm its active. The PD1 no holes parking sensor, as an electromagnetic system, works differently to the more traditional ultrasonic sensors, in that its looking for a change in the terrain behind the car. Therefore when first started it will ignore any objects currently present, which may range from tow bars & bike racks to brick walls, but when you start moving in relation to these objects the PD1 wil notice the relative changes and alert accordingly. Because the tow bar / bike rack would remain in the same please relative to the sensor strip, it will continue to ignore it. If you start moving closer or further away from a wall or another car then it will alert the distance accordingly. Front Operation is similar to the rear accept you don't need reverse gear to activate it.
Option 1 - A manual on/off switch to control your front parking sensor as & when you need it (included in the kit).
Option 2 - CAN front parking sensor controller* (£72.99 extra) Switches the front parking sensor on once the vehicle speed drops below 6mph (*not included as this item is vehicle specific).
